NOTE: Make sure to install a new Fuel Pump and Sender Unit O-ring seal.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FUEL TANK > REMOVAL

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation steps.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING - OVERVIEW .

2. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to: FUEL TANK DRAINING .

3. Remove the muffler and tailpipe. Refer to: MUFFLER AND TAILPIPE .

Step 4

1. Index mark the driveshaft and pinion flange for reference during installation.

2. Remove the driveshaft to pinion flange bolts.

Step 5

1. Support the driveshaft.
