REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > KNOCK SENSOR (KS) > REMOVAL

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Disconnect the KS electrical connector.

2. Remove the lower intake manifold. Refer to: LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD .

NOTE: The cylinder heads are removed for clarity.

3. Remove the bolts and the KS.

Torque

: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
