307-559 Installer, Shifter Fluid Seal TKIT-2005U-FLM TKIT-2005U-LM TKIT-2006U- FLM/LM TKIT-2006UF/FM

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > SELECTOR SHAFT SEAL > REMOVAL

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

NOTE: To prevent selector lever cable damage, do not apply force to the selector lever cable between the selector lever and the selector lever cable bracket.

2. Disconnect the transmission selector lever cable end from the selector lever.

3. Remove the main control valve body. Refer to: Main Control Valve Body .

4. Remove the bolts and the park rod actuating plate.
