10. Remove and discard the transmission fluid filter.

11. Press the release tab and lift up on the bulkhead electrical connector retainer to release the bulkhead electrical connector shell.

12. With the transmission bulkhead connector sleeve retainer released, use the special tool to pull the outer shell of the bulkhead connector sleeve out of the transmission. Use Special Service Tool: 307-717 Remover, Kostal Sleeve.
