Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?

Yes

INSTALL a new door lock indicator harness.

No

GO to L6

L6 CHECK THE DOOR LOCK INDICATOR GROUND CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN

Ignition OFF. Disconnect Body Control Module B (BCM-B) C4368A. Measure:

Is the resistance less than 3 ohms?

Yes

GO to L16

No

REPAIR the circuit.

L7 CHECK FOR BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) B1490:11

Ignition OFF. Connect suspect door lock indicator harness connector. Ignition ON. Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the BCM self-test.

Is DTC B1490:11 present?

Yes

GO to L8

No

GO to L11

L8 CHECK THE LEFT DOOR LOCK INDICATOR FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
