S12 CHECK THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE
Remove the opposite side exterior door handle. REFER to: Exterior Front Door Handle (501-14 Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems, Removal and Installation). Transfer the exterior door handle from the opposite side of the vehicle to the suspect exterior door. For example, if the left front exterior door handle is suspect, transfer the right front exterior door handle to the left front door. Connect BCM C2280D. Operate the keyless entry feature from the suspect door.
Does the keyless entry feature operate from the suspect door?
Yes | INSTALL a new exterior handle. REFER to: Exterior Front Door Handle (501-14 Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems, Removal and Installation). |
