REPAIR the circuit.

S7 CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE

Ignition OFF. Disconnect suspect exterior door handle. Measure:

Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?

Yes

GO to S10

No

S8 CHECK THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE VOLTAGE SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND

Disconnect BCM C2280D. Measure:

Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes

GO to S9

No

S9 CHECK THE EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLE VOLTAGE SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
