Draining

All vehicles

NOTE: Removal steps may contain installation information.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

Vehicles with a drain plug

2. Drain the differential gear lubricant. Torque : 25 lb.ft (34 Nm)

Vehicles equipped with a differential cooler

Step 3

1. Remove the cooling line retaining clip.

2. Remove the cooling line and position aside.
