8. NOTE: Make sure the driveshaft is fully seated into the pinion flange before installing the driveshaft to pinion flange bolts.

Install the driveshaft-to-pinion flange bolts. Torque : 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)

9. Install both rear halfshafts. Refer to: Rear Halfshaft (205-05 Rear Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation).

10. Install the muffler and tailpipe assembly. Refer to: Muffler and Tailpipe (309-00A Exhaust System - 2.3L EcoBoost (231kW/314PS), Removal and Installation). Refer to: Muffler and Tailpipe (309-00B Exhaust System - 3.7L Duratec (227kW/301PS), Removal and Installation).
