Removal

1. Remove the muffler and tailpipe assembly. Refer to: Muffler and Tailpipe (309-00A Exhaust System - 2.3L EcoBoost (231kW/314PS), Removal and Installation). Step 2

1. Loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut.

2. Rotate the cable outward, then pull the pin and cable upwards and disconnect from the equalizer.

3. Release the tabs and disconnect the front cable from the bracket.
