Reconnect the OCSM connector and related in-line connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly. Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.

Yes | CHECK OASIS for any applicable Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs). If a TSB exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW TSB instructions. If no Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) address this concern, INSTALL a new OCSM. REFER to: Occupant Classification System (OCS) Sensor (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation). |

The Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) Does Not Respond To The Diagnostic Scan Tool

The SCCM communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN2.

Fuse Wiring, terminals and connector SCCM
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
Verify BCM fuse 13 (7.5A) is OK.
