1. Rotate the transmission electrical connector.

2. Pull the transmission electrical connector out to disconnect.

Detach the retainers and position the wiring harness aside.

NOTE: Index mark one stud and the flexplate for assembly reference.

NOTE: Only rotate the crankshaft in a clockwise direction.

48. Remove and discard the torque convertor nuts.
