3. Backlash specifications are 0.040 to 0.140 mm (0.00157 to 0.0055 in).

30. Install the special tool and rotate the crankshaft slowly clockwise until the crankshaft balance weight is up against the special tool. The engine is now at TDC and must remain at the TDC position until the timing drive components and crankshaft pulley are installed.
