For PCM DTC,

For driveability symptoms without DTC, Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - SYMPTOM CHARTS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) .

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > IGNITION COIL-ON-PLUG > REMOVAL

RH Side

NOTE: The upper intake manifold must be removed to access the RH ignition coil-on- plugs.

1. Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to: UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD .

Both sides

NOTE: When removing the ignition coil-on-plugs, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal.

NOTE: Use compressed air to remove any foreign material from the ignition coil-on-plugs and surrounding area before removing the ignition coil-on-plugs.

2.

1. Disconnect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.

2. Remove the ignition coil-on-plug mounting bolts.

3. Remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
