The solenoid body strategy is programmed into the PCM to control the shift, Line Pressure Control (LPC) and TCC solenoids to prevent harsh shifts. The solenoid body tag on the transmission case contains the 13-digit solenoid body strategy and the 12-digit solenoid body identification. Letters are not used in the 13 digit solenoid body strategy. The characters consist of all numbers.
