NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Position both front seats fully rearward.

2. Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, General Procedures).

3. Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

4. NOTICE: Use new factory bolt and washer assemblies or water leaks may occur.

NOTE: Discard the upper instrument panel cowl bolts.

Remove the instrument panel cowl bolts. Torque : 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
