Wiper Linkage Assembly - LHD

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: The hood is removed in this procedure for clarity.

1. Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

2. Activate the windshield wipers.

1. Set the ignition switch to the ON position.

2. Set the windshield wiper switch to run the wipers continuously.

3. NOTE: This step is necessary to access all the mounting bolts and remove the wiper linkage assembly from the wiper motor.

NOTE: The wiper motor crank must be positioned to the 270 degree down position.

Position the motor crank.

1. Rotate the wiper motor crank 270 degrees.

2. Set the ignition switch to the OFF position.
