Parking Brake Cable LH - Vehicles With: SVT Performance Package

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the muffler and tailpipe assembly. Refer to: Muffler and Tailpipe (309-00D Exhaust System - 5.2L 32V Ti-VCT, Removal and Installation).

Step 2

1. Loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut.

2. Push inward on the tabs and detach the LH cable from the bracket.

3. Rotate the cable, slide the pin upwards and detach the cable from the equalizer.

Step 3

1. Remove the parking brake cable bracket nut. Torque : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

2. Remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt. Torque : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
