Is the audio output OK for the audio input jack?

PINPOINT TEST T : THE AUDIO INPUT JACK IS INOPERATIVE OR DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

T1 RESET THE APIM (SYNC MODULE) AND RECHECK SYNC® SYSTEM OPERATION

Remove any devices connected to the USB port and audio input jack. Carry out an APIM power reset by disconnecting the battery for 1 minute, then reconnecting it. Wait at least 2 minutes for the APIM to re-initialize. Connect: MIT 105-00120. Using the MIT 105-00120, attempt to play an audio file using the audio input jack.

Is the audio output OK for the audio input jack?

Yes

The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was corrected by performing the APIM power reset. If the customer's device still does not operate correctly, the fault is with the customer's device.

No

GO to T2

T2 CHECK THE AUDIO INPUT JACK CIRCUITS FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE

Ignition OFF. Disconnect: Audio Input Jack C2362. Disconnect: APIM C2383. Ignition ON. Measure:
