Ignition ON. Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the rear USB port.
Does the MIT 105-00120 power on from the rear USB port?
Yes | GO to V2 |

V2 RESET THE APIM (SYNC MODULE) AND RECHECK SYNC® SYSTEM OPERATION
Remove any devices connected to the USB ports and audio input jack. Carry out an APIM power reset by disconnecting the battery for 1 minute, then reconnecting it. Ignition ON. Wait at least 2 minutes for the APIM to re-initialize. Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the rear USB port. Select USB mode on the MIT. Operate the audio system in USB mode and observe the audio output.
Is the audio system USB output OK with the MIT 105-00120 connected to the rear USB port?
Yes | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was corrected by performing the APIM power reset. If the customer's device still does not operate correctly, the fault is with the customer's device. |

V3 CHECK THE APIM (SYNC MODULE) FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) B12B8:04 OR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) B12B8:11
Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the APIM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Perform the APIM self-test.
Is DTC B12B8:04 or DTC B12B8:11 present?
