Y12 VERIFY THE OPERATION OF THE USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) HUB TO APIM (SYNC MODULE) USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) CABLE
Disconnect: USB hub to APIM USB cable (black-ended USB connector) from the USB hub. REFER to: Universal Serial Bus (USB) Hub (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation). Connect: Female Type A 4 Pin To Female Type Mini-B 5 Pin USB 2.0 Adaptor (Rotunda part number CCMUSB-AF-BF5) or equivalent to the USB hub to APIM USB cable at the USB hub.
Connect: MIT 105-00120 to the USB Adaptor. Select USB mode on the MIT 105-00120. Operate the audio system in USB mode and observe the audio output.
Is the audio system USB output OK?
Yes | INSTALL a new USB hub. REFER to: Universal Serial Bus (USB) Hub (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation). |

Y13 INSPECT THE USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) HUB TO APIM (SYNC MODULE) USB (UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS) CABLE AND APIM (SYNC MODULE)
Ignition OFF. Disconnect: USB hub to APIM USB cable from the APIM. REFER to: SYNC Module [APIM] (415-00B Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: Touchscreen Display, Removal and Installation). Inspect the USB hub to APIM USB cable, USB cable ends, and the APIM USB connector port for damage. Remove any debris.
