With the audio system still in CD mode, perform the ACM self-test using a diagnostic scan tool.
Is DTC B1D19:49 or DTC B1D19:4B set in the ACM?
Yes | • If B1D19:49 is present, GO to AD6 • If B1D19:4B is present, the system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by extended CD player use. Audio operation can resume after the ACM cools. Clear the DTC. |

AD6 RECHECK FOR DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE) B1D19:49
Ignition ON. Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the ACM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Ignition OFF. Ignition ON. Wait at least 5 seconds. With the audio system still in CD mode, repeat the ACM self-test using a diagnostic scan tool.
Is DTC B1D19:49 set in the ACM?
Yes | GO to AD8 |

No | GO to AD7 |
AD7 RECHECK FOR PROPER CD (COMPACT DISC) PLAYER OPERATION
Operate the audio system in CD mode and play an audio file.
Is the audio output OK for the CD player?
Yes | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern was corrected by performing the ACM self-test, which cold boots the module. |

AD8 CHECK FOR CORRECT ACM (AUDIO FRONT CONTROL MODULE) OPERATION
Ignition OFF. Disconnect and inspect all the ACM connectors. Repair:
Corrosion (clean module pins or install new connectors or terminals) Damaged or bent pins (install new terminals or pins) Pushed-out pins (install new pins as necessary)
Reconnect the ACM connectors. Make sure they seat and latch correctly. Operate the system and determine if the concern is still present.
