REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > COOLANT PUMP > INSTALLATION

1. Install a new coolant pump gasket and O-ring seal and lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine coolant.

: Motorcraft® Orange Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrated (U.S.) / VC-3-B (U.S.) (WSS-M97B44-D)

2. Install the coolant pump, the 7 bolts and tighten in the sequence shown in 2 stages.

Torque:

Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Stage 2: 45°
