Removal

NOTE: When installing the CAC tubes, thoroughly clean the joint clamp areas using metal brake parts cleaner.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When removing any turbocharger air intake system components, make sure to cover any open ports to prevent debris from entering the system. The turbocharger compressor vanes can be damaged by even the smallest particles. All components need to be inspected and cleaned prior to installation or reassembly.

Charge Air Cooler (CAC) Intake Pipe - Upper

1. Disconnect the electrical connector and detach the wire harness retainers.

2. Disconnect and position aside the bypass tube.
