1. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever.

2. Remove the bolt from the bracket.

3. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the bracket.

NOTE: Make sure the transmission jack contacts the outer ribs of the transmission fluid pan.

NOTE: Secure the transmission to the transmission jack with a safety strap or chain.

14. Using a high-lift transmission jack, support the transmission.
