4. Material: Petroleum JellyCoat the thermal bypass valve or plug with petroleum jelly to hold it in place and install the thermal bypass valve or plug into the transmission case.

NOTE: The main control will not rest flush on the on the transmission case, this is a normal condition with the rubber feed tubes, the bolts will pull the main control assembly to the case.

1. Align the guide pins on the main control with the alignment holes in the transmission case.
