Selector Lever Assembly — Removal — Automatic Transmission External Controls · Reference 9104

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > SELECTOR LEVER ASSEMBLY > REMOVAL

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .

2. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever and remove the selector lever cable retainer bolt.

Torque

: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

3. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever assembly.

4. Starting from the front corners, carefully pry up the bezel and position it out of the way.
